Welcome to Momstown! My name is Robinetta and I am one of Milton's Community Managers and what better social networking group to belong to. Laura and I love going into our community and getting other moms like us together, let it be through our talk forum or events.

I am a mom that works from home. I have three children, ages 9, 7 and 3 years old. I moved to Milton not so long ago and found Momstown. My family and I moved almost 1 1/2 hours away from our friends to come live here for our eldest daughter to attend E.C.Drury School for the Deaf. All I can say is that we should have made this move sooner.

Right away I fell in love with Momstown, its members and the community of Milton.
We are all moms that get what it takes to be a mom and we are all here for each other. Being a mom is the most rewarding gift you can receive, yet it has many challenges. It is great to know that there is a place that we all can go and get advice, support and friendship when needed or not.
Like Laura said in her blog, "I don't know where I would be without Momstown.

hello momstown mama's

Welcome to our Milton members and to any new or potential members. Momstown Milton is a thriving social network for Moms. we have a great talk forum where you can chat about what's really on your mind, look for advice or suggestions or give such! We have such a great group of Moms - which is what makes our group so successful.

I am one of two community managers in Milton. We do our best to be as creative as possible when we post events on our calendar - but we all have great ideas, so if you want to share your's please let either Robin or I know and I'm sure our Momstown Mama will appreciate it!

I am a stay at home of three busy kids ages 7, 5 and almost 3 (gulp). I'm waiting for a day where nothing "happens".....but that isn't mommyhood is it? What a rewarding and challening job this is! I'm so relieved to have such a great group to come to. I'm thinking the same thing so many other Momstown Moms think...."what did I do without Momstown?"

Odds are that when you were growing up your mom knew all of your neighbours. Your street was full of kids you knew and your mom invited the neighbourhood over to run through the sprinkler while the other moms had coffee and chatted. If a neighbour had a new baby, you were probably sent over with a hot casserole and the new mother would have been warmly welcomed into the folds of the other families. Although some social conventions have (sadly) changed, what hasn’t is the need to connect with other local mothers. It has always been said it takes a village to raise a child. We say it takes a town. Who resides in the town we fondly call momstown? Well, it’s moms like you.

What began as a small mothers group run by one mom has flourished under tender loving care by local women to make momstown the supportive, organized ‘neighbourhood’ it is today. Founded in August 2007 by 3 moms from Burlington, Ontario, momstown.ca has now found a niche within many communities by providing moms with consistent activities and daily encouragement. momstown uses the internet to connect but our goal is to get moms off the computer and out of the house!

Christi & Ann-Marie, the “mamas of momstown”, are active in the Halton region but provide assistance to all Community Managers. momstown’s focus is on neighbourhood connections and our Community Managers will help each regional chapter grow and adapt with its own members, area and needs.

The girls below bring together your local neighbourhood and warmly welcome you to join in. Come live, laugh, learn and relax with us.

Welcome to momstown!
