Photo Playdates - It's a Wrap!

We had our final photo playdate last week and the pictures turned out really nicely! The photographer had a great time and I think the moms were pleased with the shots! You can check out some of the photos that were taken on the photographer's blog: http://kellyclancyphoto.com/blog/.

It'd be nice to do something like this again when the weather is warmer and we can go outside!

Here's a few more photos of our members' little munchkins that were taken last week:

Look Whats Happening in Milton!

Wow ladies, we have been busy! This month we have introduced our Book Club, Kindermusik, Hot Yoga, Pilates, and now to add to our weekly events we have Little Hands Talking Drop ins.

Tomorrow night is our meet and greet at my house, I am really looking forward to meeting some new moms and enjoying a couple hours of good old girl talk! Mind you it tends to go to diapers and rashes quickly its still a good time!

Our first Kindermusik session was a huge hit and SNAP Milton showed up and took some pictures- Watch for it in March! Now all you moms know its not just about music, ITS A WORKOUT! Sweat aside, the kids loved it and we all had a nice workout. Can't wait for the next session - WHICH IS ALREADY MAXED OUT FOR ATTENDANCE! YAY MOMS!

There is so much more to come as we approach mid February, watch for more great events that will certainly make you feel that Spring is right around the corner!

Book Club Begins!

Tonight was our first Book Club meeting, with nine momstown members in attendance. After we introduced ourselves and talked about our kids - of course - we got cracking on the creation of our 'book list' and talked about books we'd all read before.

We got a little off topic when the discussion started heading towards why and how often little boys play with their 'parts', but after about 30 minutes we managed to get back on track with the book talk!

The thing I like best about this Book Club meeting was getting together with new people and just chatting with other moms!

In addition, our Book Club is made up of avid readers and people who don't read at all... In fact, one member even confessed that the only book she had read since she was in grade seven was Twilight (by Stephenie Meyer). So, obviously if you aren't a big reader, you're still welcome in our Book Club! And, who knows, maybe even the non-reader will grow to love books!

I feel as though I never have time to read, but I'm really excited about some of the books we picked tonight. I also saw some posts on our message board about a lot of our members reading to relax... So, I'm looking forward to that too - if I can stop falling asleep every time I pick up a book!

I'm looking forward to seeing our Book Club grow... and until then - Happy Reading!
