Storytime and Starbucks

We began the morning at the Beaty Branch library for drop-in storytime and then walked through the neighborhood

momstown Milton moms say " Bring on the Heat!!"

Our trek ended with a Starbucks iced beverage for mama

... and snacks for the little ones

...while others enjoyed a nap :)

There's a Rumble in the Jungle

momstown Milton moms, tots and babies recently explored the sights and sounds of the jungle. Well, ok the sights and sounds of Lowville Park.
We added the jungle part.

Our adventure began with circle time songs
and a read-aloud.

Puppets enhanced our fingerplay

And the coloring... well, that's just plain fun!!

Soon it was time to get crafty. We filled paper towel rolls with seeds and then painted them with interesting designs to create rainsticks.

In the end, we meandered through the creek and scampered across the brush while impersonating the animals in the jungle.
momstown Milton hosts a themed event once a month, as well as several weekly events. Join us for a free two week trial, click here.

Tots + paint = a wonderful combination

momstown Milton along with momstown Burlington find Lowville Park to be the perfect location for creating, painting, hugging friends, and frolicking in the creek.

It begins with just a little paint, some paper and a variety of kitchen sponges.

Before we know it the babes, and tots create magnificent masterpieces that only a mother could love!!

Then it is off to the creek...

Join us in August for another Picasso's in the Park

In the Jungle

momstown Milton is heading to the Jungle. Join us for songs, fingerplay, circle time, and crafts. We're making rainsticks and binoculars.

Our jungle theme continues at our Baby/Tot Book Club! Snuggle up with your child and build their natural sense of rhythm while listening to Over in the Jungle: A Rainforest Rhyme, by Marianne Berkes.

Jan Brett's The Umbrella will further engage your child's imagination as they discover the wonderful world under a rainforest canopy.

Crafts, songs, chants and role-playing will bring these books to life and extend each child's literary experience.
