Our new Event Co-ordinator Kristi Budsworth did an awesome job of prepping a great morning for us all with our themed spring crafts, fun parachute time and storytime with Eric Carle's Does a Kangaroo have a Mother, too? Psst - don't tell Lauren I took a picture of the flower she planted me as she hid it under her bed as a surprise! She thinks I had my eyes closed while helping her I guess...Great idea for a flower bouquet here as well! Toilet paper roll glued to the back of the plate as the "vase", then the kids painted the plate, stuck Easter grass in the vase then made beautiful coffee filter flowers with pipe cleaner stems. Voila! Wall worthy art!
