Happy Birthday Canada!

momstown milton is wishing you all a super Canada Day tomorrow!

Looking to keep little hands busy and let them help celebrate Canada's Birthday? Here's a few Canada Day ideas:

* Paint Canada flags with red paint handprints as the 'maple leaf' (all ages can do this!!)

*Make lots of 8x11 flags to stick on windows and fences, tape flags to a straw for mini ones or toothpicks for super-mini. Let the kids display their Canadian art gallery for everyone to see their national pride.

*What's Canada day without Fireworks? Make a firework Canada Day t-shirt by diluting fabric paint with water in a spray bottle. Each spray is a blast of 'fireworks' and then decorate with extra sparkle paint for effect.

*Canadiana beaded 'necklaces': Find some red & white beads or paint penne pasta or even cut up some toliet paper rolls to make fat "beads" - string them together for a gorgeous national look!

*Include your little sous chefs by decorating red & white cupcakes with fresh in season strawberries and raspberries.

Most of all enjoy a fun day with your family!

Our momstown members are talking about the events taking place at the Milton Fairgrounds tomorrow. Click here for the details and a link to the fun stuff the town is putting on. We bet you'll see a few momstown faces out and about!!
